A Digital Revolution in Ecological Stewardship
Spearheading a global movement for regenerative finance and systems transformation
Regen Network is thought by many to be the epicenter of the regenerative finance movement– where blockchain technology, community stewardship, and ecological restoration converged to demonstrate how our economic systems can evolve to serve both planetary healing and human prosperity. Members of our collective were instrumental in advancing Regen Network’s growth and development through their expertise across finance, fundraising, business development, marketing, communications, and soil science.
Sarah directed the UI/UX design process for Regen Marketplace, defining user journeys and personas while conducting buy-side user research to inform critical features for project pages and user profiles. Sarah contributed to the early architecture of Regen Registry and conducted buy-side and sell-side user research that informed the initial Terms of Service, Registry Handbook, and blockchain architecture for credit issuance, governance, and transactions.
Sarah and Emily led the go-to-market campaign for Regen Marketplace, a pioneering digital carbon marketplace platform that achieved over $2 million in annual carbon credit sales and attracted enterprise clients like Microsoft, as well as media coverage from outlets like NPR and Forbes. Through targeted fundraising efforts, Sarah secured $1.3 million for open-source projects and over $3 million in engineering service contracts, further establishing Regen Network’s influence in the regenerative finance sector.
To empower community members new to crypto, the team created a Web3 Buyer Guide, offering step-by-step instructions on wallet setup, marketplace navigation, credit retirement, and sharing climate impact stories. Additionally, they developed an intuitive user guide for Regen Marketplace, simplifying complex processes like credit basics, bridging, and user profile creation.
Additionally, they fostered a vibrant community of ecological stewards, growing Regen Network’s social following by 400% YoY to 20K without any paid advertising and growing their newsletter subscriber base to over 10K engaged followers. Regen Network has become a central educational resource for a growing audience of individuals eager to understand and participate in the emerging intersection of blockchain technology and climate action.
Sarah and Emily designed a marketing series to spotlight the transformative impact of ecocredit projects. This included compelling blogs and targeted email campaigns that engaged diverse audiences. To complement these efforts, they crafted polished executive summaries tailored to support personalized sales outreach and spearheaded the marketing strategy for the Cosmos ZERO carbon offsetting initiative.
By developing streamlined workflows for project documentation, data validation, and blockchain-based credit issuance, Becca both efficiency and transparency in the project registration process. Through global stakeholder engagement and community forum facilitation, Becca helped build the relational infrastructure needed for widespread adoption of ecological credit systems, connecting land stewards, scientists, and market participants in a shared understanding of ecosystem value.
