Sarah Baxendell, Founder, Head of Regenerative Design

Sarah Baxendell founded ArtEcology in 2011. She has spent 14+ years working at the intersection of regenerative design, climate finance, and ecological restoration. She has raised $40 million+ for climate and ecosystem restoration projects, redesigned 1,000+ acres of public lands including America's largest urban farm, and served as a founding team member of Regen Network, a biodiversity credits marketplace. Her work spans coastal restoration in Hurricane Sandy's aftermath, biodiversity credit market design, and brand ecosystems for organizations aligning product development with regenerative principles. ArtEcology partners with forward-thinking organizations to bridge ecological regeneration, nature finance, and cultural transformation, delivering strategic advisory, landscape design, and storytelling that moves capital toward living systems and restores ecosystems. Emily Rogers leads storytelling at ArtEcology, bringing 10+ years of marketing strategy and product positioning expertise to climate tech and environmental non-profit organizations. She has developed go-to-market strategies, brand narratives, and vibrant ecosystems for organizations including Regen Network, Layer Labs, and Walkers Reserve, translating complex systems into compelling stakeholder communications. Her work spans B2B marketing strategy, climate finance storytelling, strategic partnerships, and campaign development across voluntary carbon markets, decentralized technology, and regenerative brands.
