We see the interconnected crises of our time as the consequence of a civilization designed against life. Recognizing the complexity and intelligence of living systems, we work to build alternative institutions and projects grounded in ecological intelligence. Our working hypothesis is that when we design with life as our reference, we begin to build systems capable of regenerating themselves.
ArtEcology exists to prototype that redesign.

Our lab, Ecologies Of, unpacks critical research inquiries at the intersection of art, ecology, and technology, creating the intellectual and creative infrastructure for work that spans interspecies perception, planetary boundaries, adaptation, and speculative futures.

WHERE WE BUILD
We believe that design|build is the heartbeat systemic change requires. Guided by living systems design, we work with partners in the field, building new models where the problems of ecology, capital, and culture have to be solved together.
We convene practitioners through Women in Regeneration, a global network for women working across ecology, climate, food systems, and regenerative business; and Regeneration in the Room, intimate gatherings at conferences where serious practitioners gather together.
